Modern and unique design in products that are used on a daily basis by parents can be found in maamam. “ maamam ” means motherly, nurturing, and special. I received the accua, naana and laavo. The accua is the ultimate bath towel for tots. It is essentially a 4-in-1 being that it can be used as an apron, towel, babywrap and bathwrap.
When Kenzie saw it she immediately claimed it as her "cape" and wanted to take a bath. The size is perfect for a toddler to use as a bathwrap. It is very soft and thick and is accented with a piping of color. It closes with front snaps and velcro. Then bring the attached circular tabs forward and under your child's legs and attach to velcro in front. The hood is sized generously to keep the wet head dry. Kenzie loves the accua so much that she wears it even during the day!
The naana has been in full use in recent days because Mason has been spitting up regularly. My clothes are usually laden with the spitup down the front and the back. The worst is when I am babywearing and he decides to spit all down my shirt. Our usual burp cloths definitely do not stand up to par. The naana is very unique in that it is essentially like a bib* for caretaker to protect their clothes. (*like those worn at the dentist office for xrays) It's made of the same thick and soft cotton as the accua. I like how there are "cloths" on both shoulders so you can switch off if one side gets all dirty. It can also be flipped around so the larger panel in on your back. It is sized very generously to mop up plenty of spitup!
The laavo is a perfectly sized washcloth for babies and toddlers. I was washing Kenzie with a huge washcloth when my mother inquired why I didn't use a small one that is proportionate to her. I suppose it just wastes bodywash to use such a large one. The laavo was great when washing Mason because I only needed to use one dose of bodywash for the entire bath. The loop is perfect for hanging it up to dry. Again, the cotton is super soft and gentle for cleansing.
If you are looking for solid, quality products for bathtime make sure to check out maamam. The style and function give it a two thumbs up :)
