Little Pnuts & Giveaway!

logo

A subscription for toys that have been researched carefully for your child's development can be found at Little Pnuts.  They find you the best in sustainably made, ecologically friendly, organic, and naturally made toys.  No battery operated or big brand products are found here.  Since Kenzie is two and a half years old, we received the Toddler Special Delivery (Age 2) box.

Kenzie's box was focused on the following milestones to age 3: fine & gross motor skills, cognitive and sight, speech & sound.  Included in the box were the following toys:  Haba puzzle book, Hape Twist & Turnables, Janod Chunky Zoo Puzzle and Janod Animoz Animal Cards.  The value of these combined is approximately $63!

Kenzie immediately wanted to play with the Twist & Turnables.  I showed her how to unscrew each piece by turning and combining with the other pieces by screwing onto each other.  She enjoyed it and quickly caught on how to play.  The wooden blocks are of great quality and are great for hand-eye coordination in addition to building and imagination.

Kenzie wanted to explore the puzzle next and she immediately knew all the animals.  The pieces are chunky and easy for little hands to grasp.  You can even play with the animal pieces alone fromt the puzzle.  The animal cards are wonderful for learning ABC's as well as relating animals to each letter.  Kenzie has a similar card set that we keep in the car.  However these are of better quality because of the sturdy ring and thick cards.  She has mastered her ABC's and association of animals made it so much fun!

The puzzle book is a great addition to Kenzie's library.  She wanted me to read it to her immediately.  The puzzle pieces are a little advanced and will be more enjoyable in a few more months.  Until then, she can enjoy the story!  I am so happy to have been introduced to some awesome brands of toys.  The wooden toys are fabulous and will be handed down to Mason :)

Little Pnuts caters to children 0 to 5 years of age.  I think the 3 year old box would have been a better selection for Kenzie since she seems to catch on very quickly.  However, the 2 year old box selections are very much played with.  There is also the option of Special Delivery add ons which include a Just Because and Holiday option.  The monthly cost of $25 which includes shipping for 3-5 toys is a steal!  These are definitely high value  boxes that are selected with care and knowledge.  The toys won't disappoint both child and parent.
