Baby Must Haves: Maclaren Twin Triumph Giveaway!

Maclaren has a well known reputation in the baby world.  With Bean #2 on the way it was time to get a lightweight double stroller for our outings so I was excited to receive the Charcoal Twin Triumph.

This twin stroller can be used from birth without a carseat being attached.  This truly is the lightest double stroller I've seen/tested (23.4 lbs without accessories).  The weight capacity is 110 lbs for the two tots which means one can truly use this stroller for many, many years.  My favorite feature of this stroller is the independent recline on the two seats.  The seats recline in several positions by using a simple strap with clip in the back of the seat.  This is great when one child is napping and the other is awake and wants to look around.  The full recline is perfect for babies.     

The independent hoods easily snap onto the frame of the stroller.  The hood has a bit of style with the argyle pattern on the back.  I love little details like this.  The hoods also have generous storage pockets where you can place items that need to be quickly accessible i.e. phone, wipes, snacks, etc.  The hoods are also detachable.  I suppose not all people like to keep the hood on their stroller (especially on nice weather days) but I'm so conscious of the sun that I will most likely keep it on.  It would also be nice if the hood came down a bit more but I guess that would be the function of the sunshade accessory.     

The shopping basket isn't huge but is sizable enough to hold a diaper bag in one and shopping bags in the other :)  The stroller also comes with the raincover so that is not an additional cost.  There are also no cupholders included so one would have to purchase the cupholder or stroller organizer.           

I like the side by side feature of this stroller because I know Kenzie will want to "play" with her baby brother.  It can easily fit through standard doorways and no super maneuvering skills are needed.  The one-hand fold is an awesome feature on this double stroller.  Your hands are already going to be full with two tots - no need to add the struggle of a complicated fold!  It's very compact and can easily be stored in small spaces.  It's even great to have an extra to store at the grandparents.
