being MVP: The Original Baby: Ba & Giveaway!

The Original Baby: Ba & Giveaway!

The solution to helping a baby learn to hold their own bottle can be found in the "ba".  A father actually invented this product so that infants can build early independence and confidence when feeding.

Upon first glance it seems to be a soft ball toy.  However, there are openings in which to place the bottle inside the ba.  The bottle is secure once inside and the baby can grasp onto any of the rubber sides.  I love this idea and will definitely be giving it to Bean once a few months old since I will be enforcing the bottle from an earlier period than Kenzie.  The ba is BPA free and made of a 100% FDA approved food grade silicone.  It's also dishwasher safe!

Once your baby has outgrown using the bottle, he/she can use the ba as a ball - Kenzie actually took it when I removed from the box and started playing with it as a ball.  When I told her it was for her baby brother's bottle, she wanted to use it with the bottle.  She really cracks me up.

The ba comes in three colors: green, blue and pink.  It also accomodates the following brands of bottles: Avent, Babies R Us, Born Free, Dr. Brown's Wide, Nuk, Pampers, Playtex Wide, Tommee Tippee.   I found no problem placing the Medela bottle into the ba but the momma bottle was a bit too wide.  You can fit bottles with neck sizes ranging from 2 to 2.4 inches in diameter.

Buy It:  You can purchase the ba for $15.

  9. I learned just how easy it is for babies to hold this bottle and looking at it from my observation, it seems like aside from helping them to eat, it also would allow for lots of fun with the Ba. :)

  11. I learned that: Its design allows for small hands to grab and hold bottles with ease. It is also a perfect soft ball toy after transitioning out of bottle feeding.

  21. I learned:
Those four guys – a single dad, a lawyer, a designer, and a rock and roller (not the most common combination of friends) – started the company in early 2011. After some bad jokes, trials, and errors, they finally realized success since those first house-made models, leading to the quality product you see now.
