I have been using my Sound+Sleep Sound Sleep Therapy System for a while now and absolutely love it. Kenzie has actually started changing the sounds to her preference. I was excited to find out that Sound+Sleep came out with a smaller travel version (5.4″ X 4.6″ X 2.5″) called the Nomad.
The Nomad is perfect for Bean's room. I like it better than the "sound machine" we had for Kenzie. It's compact and sleek. It has most of the same features as my full size system but in a neater package. The timer is great because you can set it for intervals of 30,60 or 90 minutes or you can even leave it on all night long! The volume is easily adjustable with one touch and there are six non-repeating sound profiles for variation. The Nomad also has one of my favorite features - the adaptive mode button - which adjusts to environmental sounds to allow for enjoyment of the Nomad.
SOUND PROFILESNatural Sound Profiles:
- White Noise
- Pink Noise
- Brown Noise
- Electric Fan
One can see the vast different in size. Another great feature of the Nomad is that it has the option to run on batteries (2AA) so it really is a mobile soothing machine! Perhaps I'll even slip it in my hospital bag to get Bean accustomed to it before arriving home. Until then, Kenzie will be enjoying it on her own :)
Buy It: You can purchase the Nomad for $149.95.
