being MVP: Organic Skincare: Made from Earth

Organic Skincare: Made from Earth

I can really tell the difference in my skin after switching over to organic products.  Made from Earth is a company who limits their products to face treatments, body lotions, hair, bath and lip balms in order to offer high quality made with healthy ingredients.  They sent me an assortment of goodies to try including: Tea + Protein Herbal Shampoo, Peppermint Herbal Conditioner, Green Tea Toxin Cleanser, Pure Aloe Vera Skin Treatment, Rooibos Tea Facial Scrub, pH Equilibrant Moisturizer, Holistic Honey Body Lotion, Blueberry and Citrus Lip Balm.

The shampoo and conditioner are both thick (a bit gel-like).  The smell is lovely and leaves my hair feeling refreshed.  I've been using this for almost a month now and I can even skip one day of washing without feeling dirty.  I know it is healthier to not wash one's hair everyday but most shampoos/conditioners I have tried do not give me a clean feeling the next day.  However, the Tea + Protein Herbal Shampoo used alone or in conjunction with the conditioner has given my hair body, shine and next day freshness.

I am always on the hunt for the perfect face wash which doesn't leave my skin too dry nor makes me break out.  The Green Tea Toxin Cleanser does not contain any chemicals and is hypoallergenic.  Although I don't think of myself having sensitive skin, this gentle cleanser was perfect for every morning.  It is silky smooth to the touch and feels moisturizing even while cleansing.  It doesn't really lather like a traditional face wash but is more like a cream filled with tons of moisture.  My face feels clean yet supple after each wash.  I follow up with the pH Equilibrant Moisturizer which is also very light and non-greasy.  My skin just soaks this up and a small amount will go far.

The Pure Aloe Vera Skin Treatment was perfect for a rash that sprouted on my thigh after being out in the sun.  It is smooth and brought immediate relief to my skin.  The Lip Balms are one of my favorites.  They provide relief to my dry lips and protect them from the sun.  One should have this lip balm stashed everywhere!

The Rooibos Tea Facial Scrub is another of my favorites.  It is very light and fluffy - almost like a cloud when you dip your finger into the pot.  It is different than other scrubs I have tried because of the delicateness of the Jojoba beads.  I use this every couple of days but there is no drying of my skin.  I don't even have to use a moisturizer after using the scrub because my face feels super moisturized and clean.

My least favorite product was the Holistic Honey Body Lotion.  I usually love products featuring honey but maybe due to my pregnancy nose or an ingredient, I was not feeling this lotion.  It's really thin and absorbs into the skin quickly.  This is fantastic however I couldn't get over the smell.

Overall, I love the made from earth product and the prices are really reasonable for the quality, organic ingredients being used.

Buy It:  You can purchase the Tea + Protein Herbal Shampoo for $16.99, Peppermint Herbal Conditioner for $14.99, Green Tea Toxin Cleanser for $12, Pure Aloe Vera Skin Treatment for $14.99, Rooibos Tea Facial Scrub for $24.99, pH Equilibrant Moisturizer for $11, Holistic Honey Body Lotion for $22.99 and Lip Balms for $3.99 each.
