Telescopes are really on Kenzie's mind nowadays due to her obsession with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. I crack up everytime she makes a telescope out of straws, her hands and anything else that looks remotely like a tube. Educational Insights sent the Geosafari SeaScope but since Kenzie doesn't quite understand the magnification process (and the recommended age is 6+), we passed it along for review.
My cousin's daughter Ashlynn reviewed the SeaScope:
"My daughter loves her new seascope. We took it down to a little pond near our home today and she had so much fun exploring underwater with her new sea scope. Usually it's hard for her to see anything when we go to this pond, because the water gets so murky, but the flashlight feature on the sea scope helped a lot. She was able to see little minnows swimming around and she also discovered some tadpoles."
"She was excited about the ruler on the sea scope so she could try and measure the little creatures. My daughter loved the thermometer on the sea scope that enabled her to check the water temperature in the pond. She thought it was really fun! She said that she wants to come back to the pond every day now."
Buy It: You can purchase the GeoSafari SeaScope for $29.99.
