being MVP: Big Girl with Eio Cups

Big Girl with Eio Cups

Kenzie has never been a bottle drinker but she has been starting to use cups now.  I love the no-spill security of sippy/straw cups but Kenzie is becoming more reluctant in using them.  She wants to drink out of my cup but that leads to spills and me having to clean up.  We received the EIO kids cup in green and orange.

This is the ultimate training cup.  It is BPA free and recommended from 18 months to 5 years.  It's a glass canning jar for the base with a silicone sleeve for extra protection when dropping from little hands.  The valve free screw on top is fantastic because there is a small opening from which Kenzie can drink.  It is also easy to see how much liquid is left because of the transparent color.  The 8oz size is a good amount for each meal and easily refillable throughout the day for hydration.  Kenzie likes to use one hand to hold her cup while drinking so I am always nearby haha.

I am always afraid of glass and kids (especially Kenzie who tends to drop everything) but the EIO kids cup is actually very durable and withstood being dropped on hardwood.  I would definitely be more cautious when outside though.  I like that when you take the top off one can use it as a regular cup.  The sleeve will still give parents peace of mind and your child will feel "grown up" using a real cup.

  1. This looks like a great cup I should try! Our little one wants to do everything we are doing so we need some big kid options :)

  2. This a great concept ~ glad to hear it fared well on hardwood wonder how it would do on tile. Thanks for the review.

  3. Chloe is just starting on sippy cups and so far the last 2 have either leaked or the lid popped off when it was dropped on the cement
