A new mother will be sleep deprived and running on little fuel...literally...unless you are the fortunate few who have a nanny to help. When your newborn is sleeping through the night without waking for a feeding, one panics. I tried to wake myself up if I didn't hear Kenzie crying but forgot how long it was between feedings. This was one among many things that was difficult to remember. The benbini watch in addition to being a functioning watch incorporates special "tools" for mamas (or papas).
The benbini watch is very comfortable to wear. It has a flexible rubber cuff that easily slips on and off (it can accomodate different wrist sizes). There is a unique right/left switch on the left side of the watch for those who are breastfeeding. You can flip it to whichever side you are feeding so you remember to use the other side at the next feeding! This is genius because I tried using the rubber band method but that didn't work as well. The handy switch is a much better idea.
(please excuse my dry arm)
The bezel is the key to the benbini. There are two bezels: the inner bezel measures hours, numbered 1-12 and the outer bezel measures minutes counted by fives from 1-60. This is going to be great when keeping track of Bean's feedings and naps! It's also a great way to keep track of time between dosages of medication. I sometimes forget when giving Kenzie medicine especially when I am running out the door to go to work and have to inform Hubs or MIL when Kenzie had the last dose.
Not only is this watch sleek and stylish to wear on a daily basis (sans baby), it will be very helpful when Bean arrives.
Buy It: You can purchase the benbini watch for $99.
