Kenzie has an awesome imagination and enjoys pretend cooking and feeding. Since I'm wary of letting Kenzie use our pots/cookware/etc. for fear of breakage, I was excited for her to receive the New Sprouts Serve It from Learning Resources.
This is an entire serving set for 4: plate, bowl, cup, fork, knife, spoon. It is recommended for ages 2-7 so Kenzie has many years to have fun using this set. The size of the dishware is actually perfect for Kenzie to use for her actual meals. Although this set meets FDA specifications for food use and is dishwasher safe, I only let Kenzie put dry food on the dishware and keep reminding her that it is for play time.
Kenzie enjoys setting up the plates/bowls and serving her toys and us. We have pretend sipping down! The "silverware" doesn't work with real food as Kenzie has tried using the fork to eat pasta without success. Kenzie's imagination is shown through the "meals" she cooks with her play pots/pans and serves with her new serving set from Learning Resources. The bright colors are fun for a toddler's senses and easy to keep the set organized. Kenzie has so much fun playing with this set as will your child.
The New Sprouts Munch It! My very own play food would be a wonderful companion to the serve it set. Look out for a review coming soon!
