being MVP: Protection from Radiation with Belly Armor

Protection from Radiation with Belly Armor

I sit at a desk with a computer all day long.  At home (and while driving) I am on my phone or netbook for some period of time.  I never thought to protect Bean from such radiation that is emitted from everyday technology that I am in contact with.  I received the Belly Band from Belly Armor.

The Belly Band is perfect for belly support as well as providing extra coverage under ever creeping up shirts.  It was very comfortable to put on and the front panel is ruched to adjust for your growing belly.  The inside of the belly band is lined with RadiaShield Fabric: a highly conductive silver textile with the same shielding properties as a 1/4-inch thick sheet of aluminum.  It shields by neutralizing incoming electromagnetic waves, canceling out the ambient radiation and reducing your exposure.

In lamens terms, the belly band is effective in protecting your belly (with bean inside) from everyday radiation emitted from cell phones, laptops, PDA's, microwaves, etc.

I wore the belly band under a regular maternity shirt to work and it was virtually undetectable.  It is pleasantly comfortable and I am glad that I can protect bean from radiation unseen.  I actually rest my phone or netbook on my belly when at home eek!  I love that the neutral color allows me to wear it under shorter shirts to cover my enormous belly.

Belly Armor also offers tees and blankets with the same protection as the belly band.

  5. I had no idea about this! And never thought about it affecting your pregnant belly. I have a radiation blocker cell phone case but wish I had known about this. Will pass this onto my pregnant friends for sure!
