My Favorite Chicken Casserole Recipe
My mama used to make this yummy chicken casserole when I was growing up and she made it again for me this visit! It's a mixture of chicken, broccoli, mushroom, cheese and rice resulting in a happy tummy.
Chicken Casserole Recipe
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/4 cup water
1 chicken breast cut into small cubes seasoned with salt & Mrs. Dash then pan fry or grill
2 cups of steamed broccoli crowns
1 1/2 cups of cooked rice
1/4 cup mild cheddar cheese
smidgen of milk
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
Cook on stovetop on medium heat, stirring occasionally for 15 minutes. Pour into a casserole dish, cover with shredded cheese and breadcrumbs then bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
Serves approximately 3.
