Baby Must Haves: Novena Maternity & G!veaway!

Pregnancy hormones affected my skin in that I started breaking out in the oddest places and in random occasion.  I read so many warnings about refraining from traditional acme medication while pregnant and since I'm a "popper", my face was not happy.  Novena Maternity  came to the resue with their Maternal Skin Care line.  I received the Organic Pregnancy Kit for Normal to Dry-Ultra Sensitive skin type and Organic Beauty Belly Cream. 

I started my daily ritual of cleansing with the fruit wash, applying the eye gel, dabbing on blemish lotion to affected areas and then mixing a squirt of moisturizer with a the sunscreen before covering my face with it.  After several days I could definitely see a difference in my skin.  It was a bit brighter and acme was subdued.  The fruit wash does gush out a bit so you need to be careful when opening the top.  The best feature about this line of skincare is that the ingredients are all organic.  It's safe for mama and baby throughout pregnancy.  Although one is supposed to have pregnancy glow, hormones decided to play with me and mask it.  However, with Novena Maternity Skincare, I now have been experiencing the "glow" while being blemish free!

I was also excited to try out Novena's Belly Cream as stretch mark prevention is one of my concerns.  This too is made of organic ingredients and does not have an odor.  It goes on easily and is not at all greasy.  I am happy to report that I am stretch mark free at almost 7 months!
