Kenzie usually has super soft skin. However, due to the temperamental weather here in Southern California, I felt several rough patches on Kenzie's arms and legs. I was excited to see if Exederm would be the remedy. Their philosophy is to use products with less irritants and go "Ultra Sensitive". With exederm it's possible to gently cleanse, to deeply moisturize and get smoother and healthier skin - without using unnecessary chemicals.
We received the Exederm Cleansing Baby Bath and Hydrating Baby Lotion. I immediately drew a bath for Kenzie and made a bubble bath with the Cleansing Baby Bath. I also took a bit on a washcloth and washed her off. I then lathered her in the Hydrating Baby Lotion which was very thick and took a bit of time absorbing (maybe because I used too much at first). After a couple of days, I saw vast improvement in Kenzie's skin because the rough patches were no more! It's really nice that Kenzie is able to tell me to put on some lotion because she's itchy or her skin is dry. Exederm products are wonderful because they are "pure" without unncessary chemicals to cleanse and moisturize your tot.

I recently found this while browsing through amazon. My son has had exema since birth but for some reason recently it is getting worse. This lotion doesn't prevent it from happening, but it the best I've found at reducing severity and duration. Plus with my first order they sent me a coupon for something like $3.00 off my next purchase which was nice!I can't say what else is good on their website, but I'd be willing to try anything in their product line since I'm so happy with the hydrating baby lotion that I did purchase!
ReplyDeleteI've had exema since I was born so i'm hoping that my baby girl that is due in Sept doesn't have it also. But if she does I would love to be able to use this to soothe her skin.
