Kenzie really loves cars...all sorts and sizes of cars. It's an odd thing to me because I always imagined my daughter being super girly. It must be Hubs' genes haha. We received yet another wonderful educational toy from Learning Resources - Measuring Motors. It comes with 88 cars of varying sizes from 1"-3" (yes that is an entire fleet) and 4 tracks.
The cars are made of a solid plastic and easy to grip with small hands. Little ones can learn size variance and counting skills with these cars. Kenzie enjoys putting the cars in a row and also sorting them by color (green being her favorite of course). Kenzie enjoys daddy time by racing him on the tracks. He lets her win all the time.
Kenzie also enjoys taking them in the bath and lining them up on the edge and then dunking them in her tub to "search" for them. While the recommended age range for the Measuring Motors is 4-8, Kenzie plays with her cars every day. The only downside I see to this set is that since there is no "container" included to put away the cars after playtime, they end up everywhere - our cars, her playhouse, the toybin, the bed and even underneath furniture!
