I try to use eco-friendly products when I can and have definitely noticed the difference in quality. Bum Boosa Bamboo has some awesome wipes as well as diaper ointment. I never imagined how handy wipes would be for a multitude of occasions beyond wiping dirty bottoms.
The quality and effectiveness of wipes vary greatly from my experience. Some are too wet, thin, thick, small, etc. The Bum Boosa wipes ($5.45) surprised me in that when you open the package, the pleasant essential oil smell wafted out. Kenzie wanted a wipe so I handed it to her and she promptly sniffed it and said "smells good". These wipes are made of bamboo = thin yet loaded with gentle and soothing ingredients to effectively wipe baby bums. Kenzie also found that they effectively cleaned the seats at the egg hunt.
The Bum Boosa Diaper Rash Ointment ($13.99) is equally as pleasant in smell. It's a bit different than other creams I've used because it comes in a jar rather than a tube and the consistency is not as liquid. I whipped out my handy dandy plastic food handling glove (yes bad for environment but I always use one to put on diaper cream) and tried it out. It works as well, if not better, than the other creams I've tried plus it smells heavenly.
Although Eco-Friendly products tend to be priced a bit more than the standard (or generic) products, the ingredients and quality are worth it knowing that your tot is getting the best. Bum Boosa also plants a tree for each package purchased - you are definitely helping out the environment in more than one way with Bum Boosa!
