being MVP: Keeping Track of Milestones with Sticky Bellies

Keeping Track of Milestones with Sticky Bellies

One of the things I regret while pregnant with Kenzie was not keeping track of my growing belly with photos.  I would take random photos when I went somewhere but did not do a progressional set.  Sticky Bellies makes it easy with their Oh Sew Ready stickers which span from 12 to 40 weeks.

These are pretty heavy duty stickers that can be reused if carefully re-stuck.  I love the soft color palette as well as the subtle background prints.  The sticker is actually pretty substantial in size and is easy to stick to your clothing.  I decided to do a side shot series rather than the front.  If you take photos from the front make sure to just lay the sticker on your belly but do not press down, causing creasing to the edges which leads to not so flattering photos.  My 12 week photo is actually my 13th week because that's when the stickers came but I don't think there is a great difference in my belly size.  My belly has a mind of its own because one day it's huge and the next it disappears (well not entirely of course).

So here we are at Week 16.  I feel like a whale but most of all I have been feeling miserable due to the nausea and hurling.  This has led to a sore throat which in turn gives me a scratchy voice (although I suppose my normal childish voice isn't any better).  I secretly think Bean may be a boy because although I was nauseous with Kenzie at times, it was subsided with constant eating :)

I can't wait to keep tracking of my growing bean and then put all the photos together in one frame with Bean's photo at the end.  I find it still a bit daunting that I still have so many stickers left to go!  Sticky Bellies also offers stickers for baby's first and second year - how awesome is that? (Yet another thing I regret not doing with Kenzie sigh).
