Baby Carriers are a must have not only because it relieves some of the burden from your already tired back and arms but it helps develop the bond between you and mini-you. I went a little overboard when I had Kenzie because I just didn't know which one was best. Suffice it to say I really did go through trial and error to my Hubs' dismay (he thinks thought one item per category is sufficient). Out of the several slings I tried I ended up using my Hotslings the most because of it's simple yet sturdy design. The only problem was that it could not be used by my MIL because she is shorter/smaller than me. I was excited to try the Hotslings Adjustable Pouch in the beautiful Moonlight Sky pattern.
The magic of this baby carrier is due to the two strategically placed tri-glides allowing the pouch to fit comfortably on multiple users while also easily accommodating postpartum body changes. I am hoping not to gain 50 pounds as I did with Kenzie so the regular size will work for me. I have a super long torso so the regular size fits perfectly hitting my hip without any adjustments. The easy to adjust buckles will come in handy when MIL wants to carry bean (I secretly thinks she wants another baby). Just a simple pull on the buckles is sufficient. The matching diaper holder is great because I usually just have diapers floating around in the bag.
The pouch is lightly padded on both sides for structure in the semi-reclined carry and added comfort in the hip carry. Hotslings puts an emphasis on correct baby wearing and has great photos/videos instructing one on different carry positions. I can comfortably carry Kenzie in the hip carry position. This is a must have because of the portability (easily fits into your diaper bag), quick/easy use and just plain darling!
