I was the neurotic parent constantly putting on and taking off the traditional bumper.  I didn't want Kenzie to suffocate on one hand, but also didn't want her to hurt her noggin from all the movement.  Go Mama Go Design has come up with the perfect remedy for my (and other similar parents) worries by creating the Wonder Bumper!

We received the Safari Set which includes: 38 bumpers, minky toddler blanket, crib skirt and striped, cotton sheet.  It's perfectly neutral for either girls/boys.  The minky blanket is beyond soft (I must have overlooked that it was actually included in the set) and Kenzie can have full use of it until bean arrives.  The pattern on the matching sheet and crib skirt goes great with the safari animals without being overpowering.

The feature of course are the Wonder Bumpers.  These are reversible - yes you read correctly.  You can either alternate between the safari print and solid or go all solid or all safari!  A simple zip and you are ready to go.  The vertical bumpers allow for safety and relief while increasing airflow for tots.  These are also easy to wash :)  Another bonus is that these Wonder Bumpers allow for easy sheet changes - hallelujah!  How many of us grunt when changing sheets with the traditional bumper?  Especially in the middle of the night when there is spit up?  My hand is raised.

I am so excited to now know of this product and will be telling everyone I know that is expecting.  How beautiful will this set be on Kenzie's crib?  Dismantled at the moment but may be brought out when bean 2 arrives (if I don't get a different crib haha).

  2. With the growing concern about crib bumpers I will not be using them. I love the fact that these are breathable.

  5. These are one of the best things I have seen for baby recently. I used blankets rolled up and rolled around the head posts secured with diaper pins so that baby wouldn't bump his noggin.

  6. What a great idea. I did not put bumper pads on my son's crib due to suffocation concerns. This would be great to have to soften up the sides of the crib while still keepinng it open.

  7. I am with you about this set. Traditional Bumpers may lead to disaster. I also purchased a set for my baby who is due soon. I didn't know they were around when my daughter was born four years ago. They are one of the best baby products ever made.

I think they are the only bumper that make it easy to change the crib sheets. Also, they allow more oxygen into the crib and create sound barriers which cause the infant to sleep sounder. I would go for the Safari set as well, this product is high quality and is known to last forever.
