Lusso Bags has a heart-warming mission:  fighting sex trafficking by through the fair wage employment of women worldwide.  The company gives back 5% of every sale to the fight.  The beautiful Mrs. Bird Bag is made in Kolkata India, of eco-friendly and fair trade (ECOCERT) 100% organic cotton by women that have traded a life in the sex trade, for a new life as a seamstress. Each bag is sewn with love and care, and just five bags pays one day of honest wages, medical insurance, and childcare for one woman.

I usually throw my shoes in a plastic bag when I travel so it was a delight to receive a well-made bag (fully lined) with a subtle bird print for such a purpose.  The Mrs. Bird Bag is 100% muslin cotton and seems durable and not flimsy like the shoe bags that usually come with the fancier shoes.  The size is generous and can fit almost two pairs of heels.  It is also versatile in that you can store your swimsuits, toiletries, lingerie, accessories, etc.  I am looking forward to my shoes traveling in this one of a kind bag.
