being MVP: Time Really Does Fly By So Cherish Each Moment

Time Really Does Fly By So Cherish Each Moment

We had a rough weekend.  We reached the front gate of the Great Park for a Pumpkin Patch event when Kenzie started projectile vomitting (yes it was like torrent waterfall in the car).  She had a fever that night and I couldn't do anything about it except try to bring it down and give her liquids.  We don't have insurance for her since the application is currently being reviewed.  We had a thermometer and prayers.

Kenzie rebounded in the morning and even drank a full cup of milk.  I am guessing it was some kind of 24 hour bug.  It brings life into perspective for me.  I should be appreciative of every moment and especially of good family health.

I am thankful that I have a job, am healthy, happy and most of all a mother to an adorable 22 month old who has so much joy and energy!

  1. Aw poor thing, glad she's feeling better! And she IS adorable. I hate when my son (he's 15 months) isn't feeling well, sometimes you just feel helpless.

  4. Oh my gosh...Poor li'l Kenzie. I can't imagine how horrible she was feeling, let alone how helpless you felt. I'm a wimp when it comes to my daughter being ill, I have to delegate all duties to the hubby. I don't mind helping out, but my hubby is more level headed, I'm more of a panicked person. Not a good thing.

I hope everyone is well now in your household. And I hope everyone stays well.

    God Bless you and yours.
