REVIEW & GIVEAWAY: Quick Decor Change with Design With Vinyl

Have you ever gotten tired of looking at your plain blank walls?  I certainly have since our one expiramentation with painting walls (2nd bathroom) was a disaster (blue painting tape still stuck after 2+yrs since painting).  Kenzie has white walls in her room.  I wanted something that would reflect her current interests and found it at Design With Vinyl who creates Vinyl Decals for walls.

There is an array of logos/quotes/images to choose from in every category imaginable.  I chose the girl holding balloons, blue bird flying and Little girls have a magic all their own for Kenzie's room.

Upon receiving the Removable Vinyl Lettering and Decals you need to roll out and let straighten for a day.  Make sure to go over the lettering/decals with a ruler (I used Kenzie's book) so that the graphic is securely attached to the transfer tape.  Then tape the lettering/decals on the wall where you want them to go.

Lift the lettering/decal and remove the backing very carefully so as not to displace or rip any of the lettering/decal.  Hinge the graphic back down, holding it away from the wall so as not to allow contact with the wall.  Using  a credit card or a plastic application tool (again we used Kenzie's book), press the lettering on to the wall, smoothing the surface from top to bottom.

To reveal the finished graphic, work slowly from one of the corners and carefully peel back the transfer tape at an acute angle.   Do not pull the transfer tape straight out, as this could pull the lettering off at the same time.  Yay Hubs did a fantastic job!

The finished product is clean and Kenzie can't peel it off!  That's the best feature.  Kenzie already knows the girl with the balloons and I bet she secretly wants to be lifted by balloons like in the movie Up (I must show it to her when she is a bit older).  She can already point out the "bird" as well.

I highly recommend Design with Vinyl for a quick and easy decor makeover - so many choices that you can't go wrong.
